Dunhill is known for its classic shapes, and they don’t get much more classic than the Canadian. A low transition helps display the proud, upright bowl to fine effect, rising from the oval shank with the precise bowl curvature we expect from a pipe of Dunhill’s pedigree. That shank is long, as expected from the shape, but it’s considerably more stout in this larger, Group 5 rendition, lending the profile added muscularity. The stem is abbreviated and tapers suddenly from the transition, and the smooth texture and warm hue of the stem are echoed by the smooth-polished stummel for a handsome aesthetic balance.
