The Bell/Calabash shape isn’t a new design by any means, with examples dating back over a century, and this bent Dublin hews closely to that design. However, it’s not a shape that Dunhill features on their standard shape chart, and for that reason, it’s presented here in the Quaint series and devoid of shape number. The form itself, though, fits well into the White Spot’s devotion to classic English style, and the extra curves through the bowl, along with the curling transition, conform naturally to wrapped fingers, while the stretch of bent stem balances the piece out when clenched.
